We're pleased to announce that we will be supporting the Cincinnati Giants Youth Baseball Organization.  The Cincinnati Giants baseball team competes in Southwest Ohio  and provides opportunities for kids to learn the game of baseball. 

 Many of the kids on the team have financial difficulty and would be unable to afford the fees for league fees, uniforms, equipment, etc. and depend on contributions from sponsors in order to have the opportunity to play.   The Coach mentioned that he has a couple of kids who do not have their own glove, so they share gloves with teammates who are on the bench.  Since we have a number of employees who have kids who have played we will be collecting gently used equipment for the team through next week.  Employees who have equipment they would like to donate can bring it in to the HR Department.  Below is a list of some of the items needed:

•        Gloves
•        Bats
•        Cleats 
•       Batting gloves
•        Catchers or first base gloves
•        Baseballs

 In addition, in order to help raise money for the team, UASI will be holding a raffle next week for 2  Reds Tickets.  The employee who wins will have their choice of 2 Mezzanine Level tickets for the Milwaukee Brewers series on either July 17th-7:10, 18th-7:10 or 19th-7:10.  Employees can purchase raffle tickets for $2 each or 3 tickets for $5.
